
David was born in San Diego, California, and
moved with his family to Fort Worth, Texas when he was 13 years old. He
graduated high school from Fort Worth Christian and then from Oral
Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma with a degree in Business Finance. His
interest in real estate started in college when he took a real estate course
and decided to buy his first single-family rental property. After graduating
college, he worked in the financial service industry, focusing on
retirement and estate planning. In 2007, David began working with a Texas-based
energy retail provider, marketing retail and commercial energy services.
During that time, he built a marketing organization of independent consultants
that developed over 100,000 energy customers.
In 2018 David became a Texas-licensed real
estate agent and founded Cornerstone Community Partners (CCP) - a multi-family
investment property business. In 2019, he key principled and co-sponsored a
multi-family syndication of a 228-unit apartment complex in Abilene,
Texas. Currently, David oversees the business development side of CCP, networking
with commercial brokers and underwriting multifamily and other commercial investment
properties. He also oversees capital development working with general and
limited partners to raise equity and organize the financing terms. David currently resides in the DFW area with
his wife and four children. He enjoys big-game hunting, rucking, and tactical
shooting.
